Prof. Dr. Henry Martin Kurwahn

Also known as Fan Da Ming (范大明), is a German citizen born in Honduras in 1965 and currently residing permanently in Italy. He serves as an academic deacon and Chairman of the Board of Salesians University. Additionally, he is a tenured university professor, accredited scientist, and writer.

In 1989, he completed his education and postgraduate studies in Computer Science. He also pursued studies in Civil Engineering at the National Autonomous University of Honduras and studied Law and Political Science at the University of Panama. Presently, he is pursuing his Doctorate in Theology at the Istituto Superiore di Scienze Religiose di Sassari, affiliated with the Pontifical Faculty of Theology of Sardinia.

Prof. Dr. Kurwahn holds invention patents and has published numerous works, including books, journals, and digital newspapers. Notable among his achievements are the legal consultation systems JURE©, LEX©, and IndexLegum©. He developed the systematic and progressive compilation system of Latin American legislation, “Redplan Siglo 21,” installed in the Latin American Parliament in Sao Paulo and the Information Technology Secretariat of the Senate in Brasilia since 1999. He has also been responsible for implementing the “Virtual Parliament” platforms in the Mexican Senate, the National Congress of Honduras, and the Congress of the Republic of Peru since 1998. He served as an editor for the magazine “PulsoLatino” and the newspaper “Buenos Días Hamburgo.”

In terms of his involvement in social, guild, and private organizations, Prof. Dr. Kurwahn has been a member and director of various institutions. He served as President of Lupo Societas Ius Romanum at the Faculty of Law of the University of Panama and the Iustao Academic Foundation.

In the political arena, Prof. Dr. Kurwahn (范大明 Fan Da Ming) ran as a candidate for the Hamburg Parliament in Germany, representing the Die Linke party in the 2011 elections. He also served as a permanent legislative delegate representing the Presidency of the National Congress of Honduras at the Latin American Parliament and the Forum of Presidents of Legislative Powers of Central America, where he coordinated the drafting of framework laws necessary for the harmonization of educational and technological criteria in Central America. Furthermore, he held the position of President of the SINOLAT Beijing Parliamentary Assembly from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to his fluency in Spanish, Prof. Dr. Kurwahn (范大明 Fan Da Ming) has a good command of English, German, Italian, and Portuguese. Academically, he possesses basic knowledge of Simplified Chinese.
